GUNIA Project ceramics are crafted at the brand’s own production facility — with respect for both natural and human resources, aiming to preserve and carry on traditional craftsmanship. Each ceramic object begins with a mold developed by a sculptor. The piece, created using the slip casting method, is fired in a kiln and then passed on to decoration artisans. A team of 30 artists works on painting GUNIA ceramics. The ornaments, inspired by Ukrainian culture, are applied by hand.
The painted piece is coated with glaze and undergoes a second firing. Gilding is the final touch that completes the design of the object. The third and final firing lasts five hours. Each ceramic item requires over 20 stages of manual work — created to become a part of modern heritage.

CARRON Paris, a French art de vivre design brand, was founded by the mother and son team, Mathilde and Charles, in 2015. As descendants of the family Carron-Astier de Villatte, their savoir-faire is in ceramics, glass, fragrance, delicate metalwork.
The company creates and edits limited editions and unique, handmade pieces at their atelier in the south of France. Collections are designed by Mathilde Carron-Astier de Villatte, or in collaboration with guest artists.
